Silver Drops Ring : ‘Goteo’

A gift made drop by drop

In this case I was asked for a ‘silver balled ring ’. The result is this ring made through a casting technique out of a wax model, where the drops were made by dripping hot wax. It’s fun to see how the ring grows drop by drop, as one decides where to put the next one. Best of all is that the result will never be the exact same. I don’t use a mould so with each new ring, a new formation of droplets is created.
